Cathie Jung : World’s smallest waist woman

Cathie Jung has the world’s smallest waist.

cathe-jung.jpg

No, it’s not a distorted picture – Cathie Jung’s tiny waist really does measure just 15in. But the super-thin 70-year-old insists there is no, ahem, corset for concern. Grandmother Cathie is perfectly healthy despite having a midriff that can be reduced to the size of a large mayonnaise jar. And having the smallest living person’s waistline has got her into the new edition of the Guinness Book Of Records.

Cathie’s astonishing 39-15-39 figure is the result of spending the last 25 years laced into tight corsets, which only come off when she showers.Cathie, from Manteo, North Carolina, reckons that while her corsets restrict her waist they don’t hold her back from everyday tasks.

She said: “I do everything that I want to do. I eat fairly small meals but I prefer that at my age anyway. I find it tricky sitting in low chairs and sometimes in restaurants I have to sit on the high chairs at the bar.

“I even have a special swimming costume with a corset sewn in it, so I can still go to the beach. And I am still able to do housework — unfortunately!”

Cathie’s husband Bob is an orthopaedic surgeon and he reckons his wife’s unique look does her no harm.

She said: “Bob has carried out X-rays on me and says the corset actually helps support my spine. Everything in the midriff is flexible.”

She looks disgusting! I can’t imagine anybody in her right mind doing this to herself.

  • 2. Psyprass  |  December 17, 2007 at 4:20 pm

Wow. I wonder how that would affect the positioning of her organs.

But oh well, if she likes it, good on her. It’s a pretty unique body shape, even if it’s a bit extreme and has been artificially formed.

On an unrelated note, she has good muscle tone in her arms. *envies*

  • 3. The Dude  |  December 31, 2007 at 2:37 pm

How rude….the way talkshow hosts cut off their guests like they no longer matter. I don’t care if it’s Cathie Jung, or a homeless guy on the street. It’s disrespectful.

  • 4. rommie  |  January 6, 2008 at 6:39 am

I think this lady changed her silhouette drastically by wearing corsets which may have changed the natural positions of her organs and therefore it must be really hard to breathe!!!

  • 5. azur  |  January 10, 2008 at 8:00 am

    rude?
these hosts brains are extremely more reduced than her waist.
You can tell in the first how prepared they are to conduct an interview. They looked very sharp and smart.
She couldn’t give the recipe or tips she wanted to.because she was hosted by this unbrained pair.

  • 6. Seeker  |  January 28, 2008 at 2:36 pm

Any red-blooded male would drop his drawers to be married to a woman like that. Cathie’s husband, Bob, is one lucky man.

  • 7. Holly  |  February 14, 2008 at 6:30 am

She looks kind of retarded. I don’t think men would like that. Her body is not proportional. In fact it’s nasty. so nasty.

  • 8. Warlockharry  |  February 29, 2008 at 2:16 am

First off, a couple of remarks to some responders; DUDE, they were pressed for time, they are on a schedule down to the second. And SEEKER; you must raise your standards on rating women!! And as for myself, that is just not normal. She looks sort of “cartoonish.” Weird. Real weird. She has no strength to stand and speaks week. I wonder just how much life insurance her husband has on her? He’s the doctor… a clean bill of health???… sounds like a clean insurance scam to me!!!!!

  • 9. alan  |  February 29, 2008 at 2:53 am

As usual, anyone who chooses or dares to be different will draw attention from those who don’t dare to be anything except dismissive of others. Yes, it’s an extreme look. It’s meant to be that way. There are famous precursors such as Polaire and Ethel Granger and no, it’s not to everyone’s taste but good luck to her for having the courage to be who she wants to be.

  • 10. CSI watcher  |  March 10, 2008 at 11:54 am

I think this fetish or whatever was covered on a CSI episode. She says she can still carry on well, so I guess it’s better than foot binding. I would think she’d have a terrible problem with gas pain. Just wearing a belt and sitting down too long can do that …

  • 11. OSOCALGAL  |  March 28, 2008 at 7:41 am

Not my cup o’ tea and her breathing does seem impaired but this is her gig and whether anyone likes it or not, it’s a done deal. Her spouse doesn’t mind, I suppose and obviously she doesn’t either. She looks terribly uncomfortable. Someone previously mentioned gas? Whoa …. That WOULD hurt … get the Gas-X … STAT.

  • 12. Celia  |  March 29, 2008 at 12:47 pm

I have looked into corset training myself, however, she has taken it to the extreme.
Her figure is remarkably different and not something that you will usually see.
She set a goal, and she reached it (even if it is a bit……. GROSS).

  • 13. Natalie  |  April 22, 2008 at 6:26 am

i think that her waist is really tiny.i just don’t get how she could stand sleeping in a closet.oh and that is rude how they cut her off right in a middle of a sentence.when i turn in my 40’s i could not even think of doing what she did.that’s just amazing how certain people can do certain things.u would think that it would hurt u if your lungs and stomach moved.well bye.

  • 14. F  |  April 25, 2008 at 5:49 am

There was nothing rude about the hosts. She obviously has to take her time speaking (which makes her hard to want to listen to) and they were already trying to wrap it up when Cathie interrupted them and was basically going nowhere with what she was trying to say during her interruption. She takes to long to spit it out and she should have paid attention to the cue that it was time to go. She also didn’t really answer some questions. She was asked what negative things were said by her family/friends, and she spoke answered something entirely different.

  • 15. gigers  |  June 13, 2008 at 6:32 am

  • 17. ek  |  June 16, 2008 at 1:45 pm

just looking at her makes my stomach hurts its discussing. she insane for making her body so skinny i wouldn’t think that would be consider healthy. the interviewers were so surprised.

  • 18. Haleigh Lotzer  |  June 21, 2008 at 2:44 am

ok heres for all the people who thinks this is disgusting its not its actually quite amazing i mean think about it could you do that could you make your waist that tiny?? its awesome even if its different. =]

  • 19. Dave Norris  |  July 11, 2008 at 1:28 am

Are there any photos of her when she was young?

  • 20. Jesscia  |  July 12, 2008 at 2:47 am

She is a beautiful woman and she is just gorgeous when she stands up and when you look at her from behin its just amazing!

  • 21. jane  |  July 21, 2008 at 5:55 am

    SUPER RUDE HOSTS!

  • 22. UberKat  |  July 30, 2008 at 7:11 am

being someone who has accomplished something that you normally dont see or are used to does not make them gross. i dont like those hosts at all, adorable accent or not… they ask someone with that much courage and determination to be different to go on their show so they can oggle and make fun of her and then just boot her off without her saying something of her own! meanies…

  • 23. joanna  |  August 7, 2008 at 3:39 am

Tighlacing to that extent does move your organs but doesnt affect your healt. you have to take short, sharp breaths but this is perfectly ok. What changes most is your rib structure. Your ribs re-shape themselves to be accomodated inside the corset they are compressed like this http://www.costumes.org/history/18thcent/accessories/underwear/corsetcrush.gif

  • 24. axle  |  August 8, 2008 at 10:56 am

PATHETIC!!! She looks like a side show freak. She must be completely starved to death for attention. She’s almost to be pittied!!!!

  • 25. Deb  |  August 9, 2008 at 8:00 am

That is so awesome! I’d never have the guts to do something as extreme as she has but I applaud her for being unique and doing what she wants to do.

  • 26. Suzy  |  August 23, 2008 at 4:16 am

Hideous! Her breathing sounds labored and she just looks unhealthy. Still, she is seventy something years old, so more power to her if that’s what she wants to do. She has no one to please but herself.

  • 27. PGeorge  |  September 4, 2008 at 12:41 am

I think as sick as she may look its the result of childhood obsession with certain cartoon characters. What’s your child reading?

  • 28. Britt  |  September 5, 2008 at 12:05 am

I think she is absolutely amazing! It is really nice to see people appreciating historical fashion, corsetry has been such a huge part of women’s lives for 100s’of years. FOr all of you women nay sayers this tight lacing was common practice for many of your great grandmothers, how could you think this was nasty?

  • […] nagu on juhtunud kõrvaloleval pildil. Ja ei, see ei ole töödeldud, vaid see on 22 aastat kestnud pideva korsetikandmise […]

  • 30. Mark  |  September 15, 2008 at 9:04 am

To each his/her own, she looks disgusting. I think there’s a definite mental issue going on there. If I were her husband I’d first never support ruining her body like that, then I would do everything I can to help. Major identity issues.

  • 31. Mark  |  September 15, 2008 at 9:07 am

Appreciting history my ass!!! That kind of history thinking is small minded and antiquated. It’s when a women was supposed to look a certain way which is completely ridiculous…again, to each his/her own. I’m sorry if society made this lady feel less than to feel compelled to potentially hurt her body. She might has well have bound her feet, and put rings around her neck to lengthen it…wrong culture, different times.

  • 32. Smartificus  |  September 17, 2008 at 5:04 am

Definitely strange and painful looking. I kinda think that her husband wanted her to do it so she did! But if that’s what she likes then I say go 4 it! And she looks pretty good for 70…or whatever we think 70 should look like.

    i agree!
    she looks disgusting!
who would want to look like that??!!!

  • 35. Jacqueline  |  November 15, 2008 at 3:29 am

Different strokes for different folks. I’ll bet half of the derogatory comments were sent in by fatties.

  • 36. TunaTank  |  November 15, 2008 at 3:42 am

I notice a lot of women saying this is awesome and wishes they could do this since they think guys would absolutely love it, but every man who posts thinks its disgusting. Yeah, she did what she wanted to do… but doesnt everyone? If anyone answers “no” to that question, i call total BS. Not attractive, it became an obsession, an addiction, to have the smallest waist.

  • 37. lorak  |  November 16, 2008 at 2:50 pm

the hosts were so rude!! what is the point of inviting a guest onto your show, if you don’t even let her talk!?..the hosts were so disrespectful, before she could even answer a question, they were already screaming out another question!! She is like seventy something, she needs time to talk.If she wants to wear that corset all the time, then i think that my opinion doesn’t matter. its a free country, if she wabts to mke her body look like that, then who are we to say no to. if she wants to do that, then she must face the possible consequences.

  • 38. Kirsten.  |  December 15, 2008 at 3:46 am

I think that the hosts were rude, and yeah I understand that they were pressed for time, but they could’ve done wrapped things up in a kinder approach. The way she speaks is weak, and she sounds like she does have a respiratory problem. So when she says her health is fine, I can hear that its not. But this was her choice, and thats the way she wanted to live her life.

That is disgusting the way she does that she must have put whale bone corsests to postion her organs like that.

  • 43. Joelynne  |  January 21, 2009 at 11:42 am

I think she and hubbie are drinkers too… someone described how she fell down one evening in a local market in Connecticut where she lives (some years ago), maybe a little tipsy… and she looked like a wasp that someone swatted with a flyswatter, spinning around on the floor, having trouble getting up.

  • 44. Christina  |  January 30, 2009 at 8:38 am

Its funny you all are commenting on her like this. She is 70 years old! She looks like she is in great shape for being 70, ignoring her waist size. And i dont think she has anything to worry about medically, if her husband is a doctor. Its really her choice what she wants to do with her body, which is no more disgusting then some one, say… smoking.

  • 45. lauren  |  February 23, 2009 at 2:50 am

    THIS MAKES ME SICK
WHO WOULD DO THIS TO THEIRSELFS?
    WHO THINKS THIS IS ATTRACTIVE!
I CAN TELL YOU NOW–NO ONE

she shoud be long gone that piece of vile mess
what a state i mean this is disgusting
    is she on drugs
does she feel happy with herself like this
i am shocked and in horror to think some one would even put this on the internet luckly ive not ate my tea yet…
would of put me rright off i tell you now its the most disgusting piece of sick twisted make ive ever seen i would rather look at the grim reeper than this!
take this vile picture of teh internet now i mean it!

  • 46. Taryn  |  February 27, 2009 at 8:53 pm

I’ve seen her talk before. I like corsets and such too, but that’s to the extreme. That’s not evne needed.

  • 47. Rochelle  |  March 30, 2009 at 12:07 pm

Holy shit! I would hate to be her who would wear something that would make you look like that! It is so disgusting!

  • 48. Rochelle  |  March 30, 2009 at 12:10 pm

Also, if anyone in my state were to see her or at least my friends we would throw up I mean never in my whole life have I been sick looking at something! By the way what are lace corsets?

  • 49. Mark  |  April 3, 2009 at 7:01 am

I’m all about to each his/her own but come on!! Sure, she has a thin waist but did anyone look at her hips?!!! All of her organs are pushe down there!!! What a freak! Her husband obviously has issues as well to support this nonsense!!! It’s probably him that demanded her be thin in the first place! There are people in the world that would do anything to have what society would consider a “normal” body, and then you have someone like this distorting hers! She should stay in her house and not come out! By the way, I watched a TV show on them last night. If anyone needs a corset it is her husband!

  • 50. Victoria & Cade  |  April 28, 2009 at 3:56 am

    look, she is soooo retarded!
This cant be real, i mean come on, get a life freaking Cathie, and you have to be anerexit.

  • 51. Stephanie  |  April 30, 2009 at 5:02 pm

Wow, aren’t you all small minded little hicks. If you think that’s disgusting then I advise that you never look at any pictures of women from the Victoria era. She thinks that she looks great, and personally I’d rather look at her than the crap I see in mainstream fashion these days. At least she’s interesting.

  • 52. claudia  |  May 17, 2009 at 7:40 am

well whatever floats her boat…if people want to cover their whole bodies with piercings or tats…then whose to say she cant have a tiny waist if it pleases her? i dont think its gross i think she looks like a cartoon…..and YES i agree its so rude that they just cut her off like that! what douchbags!!!

  • 53. i feel ill  |  May 20, 2009 at 12:16 am

Urgh this is straigh forward self harm, it looks like she has made her waist so small she wouldn’t be able to stand upright without the corset.

On the presenters: she is blates there as a freak show, and as the exibit she is not expected to talk too much.

  • 54. Kylie  |  May 21, 2009 at 3:32 pm

Yeah that’s definitely feral, why would you do that to yourself its so grossly unattractive!!!

  • 55. Caitriona Burke  |  June 14, 2009 at 2:11 am

I think this is really sick!!!!i dont think she should be aloud on tv because this will make people sick!!!!!!!!!
i am traumatised after this if i watch it for a while!!!!!!!and so are my friends!!!!!!!

  • 56. stardust***  |  July 3, 2009 at 5:03 am

  • 59. alex  |  August 7, 2009 at 4:58 pm

how does she keep her waist that thin and not the rest of her body that thin i wish i was that skinny

  • 60. Omicron  |  August 8, 2009 at 11:13 am

WHY????? Why would anyone do that to theirself? Lady, I know it’s way too late because you’re old now, but why did you do that to yourself? It’s just unnatural. Do you have a man? What does he look like?

  • 61. Laura  |  August 26, 2009 at 12:30 pm

I think this lady has an odd “fetish” of wanting to look Victorian. Everything I’ve read about has showed that corsets caused health problems to ladies years ago. If she is not having problems, that’s amazing.

As far as the person who said the hosts were cutting this lady off…if you notice, the lady is so slow at answering their questions, time is limited on these talk shows, and I’m sure they wanted an answer “today” rather than waiting till next week for Mrs Jung to finish responding in a normal way.

  • 62. lola  |  September 3, 2009 at 5:44 am

she looks absolutely disgusting, is her husband really atracted to her, and what waz her aim with the small waist thing

  • 63. loocy  |  September 10, 2009 at 4:05 am

she has slowed the pace of her life down so much, like it used to be, i like how she had the commitment to do something and then did it day by day. shes taking her life in a direction most dont, we need to make our lives faster, yet she is enjoying the moments.

  • 64. margaret  |  September 19, 2009 at 7:11 am

    HOW CAN YOU BREATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 65. jim  |  September 23, 2009 at 3:48 am

It’s HER body, what’s all the fuss about? Personally, I think 34DD-20-34 (tight bubble) is just about right …

  • 66. lmv  |  September 24, 2009 at 4:06 am

Okay, everyone has pretty much either bad mouthed her or the host. Now, I guess it is my turn to speak as well. One, I understand being shocked or dismayed at her choice of lifestyle. There comes a point in every persons life where something just makes them do something. Guys, when they go through a change, might buy a race car, date girls younger than their own daughters. Nobody says a word. Women do something outrageous and all hell breaks loose.
    Here is a History lesson:
Catherine de Medici, who laid down laws about fashion which the ladies of their courts were compelled to obey. Queen Catherine required her ladies to reduce their waists to as little as possible above thirteen inches for patriotic reasons, and herself invented an extremely severe and powerful form of the corset which a French writer described as “a closely-fitting fortress.” In this the entire trunk of the lady was encased, and a system of gradual and determined constriction was followed out until her measurements were reduced to the desired slenderness.
    (source: http://www.mrbra.com/corset_history_lingerie.ivnu)
So, even though, Cathie is doing for the “look” of the time era, she is not fully educated to the fact that women did and were expected in some areas in the past to be as small, if not smaller than she is.
To reply 35. Jacqueline- I am a “fattie” who is neither for or against what she is doing to her own self. In fact, I have no problem with corsets and think that it can be very classy, which we have lost in this lifetime. I would personally wear one, albeit one meant for a “fattie.” I find it humorous that you would be so judgmental towards “fatties” and yet, push for the motto of “different strokes for different folk’s.”

  • 67. Nataruma  |  October 8, 2009 at 4:45 pm

Why? When we’ve advanced so far and there has been suffrage and the burning of bras, I find it completely mind-boggling that some women are still doing this. It isn’t even comfortable, and anyone who says otherwise is LYING.
Dress up, have fun, be what you like, but do you honestly have to malform your ribs, push your organs hither and thither, and require so much support so you don’t snap in half when you turn to greet a friend? No! This is just far too extreme and far too self-damaging.
It’s not necessary, and I believe it truly has embodied the word ‘vulgar’. That, to me, looks utterly vulgar, and I wouldn’t want to see what she looks like without a corset on. She probably can’t even go without one for too long or her entire upper half would collapse.
Some people wish they looked as good as she does at her age. I think she’d look far lovelier with a ‘natural’ waist. She appears to be a rather tall and otherwise well-proportioned woman, but that waist just tosses it all out the window and the first thing you think is ‘FREAK’ in bright neon lettering.
I’m not averse to corsets, but what kind of example is this woman setting? And her husband should be shot, frankly.

  • 68. Aida  |  October 9, 2009 at 1:00 pm

Woah what jer hosts, they just cut her off as if it didn’t matter anymore.

Considering shes 70, shes really fit and healthy. At first when I saw her I thought she was around her early 50’s. The look is not really my cup of tea but whatever floats a persons boat I guess.

  • 69. Destiny  |  October 18, 2009 at 10:00 am

I think it’s really different and kinda weird but its her choice. yall should feel awful for the way yall are talking about her. and its not your place to judge yall are freaking jerks that need to be punched in the freaking throat. as long as the lady thinks she looks pretty then everyone else should just keep their mouths shut.

  • 73. Hether  |  December 27, 2009 at 1:18 am

Corset training does indeed reposition the organs as well as the rib bones. It’s known to cause many health problems, mostly related to digestion and the intestines. I think this kind of extreme corset traning is similar to eating disorders or body image disorders such as body dysmorphic disorder.. in an ever progressing attempt to become thinner and thinner.

  • 74. frankie aleman  |  December 30, 2009 at 6:07 am

wow…that is very disturbing…she looks terrible…if i was at a bar and saw that…first I would throw up then I would laugh uncontrolably while pointing at her and uttering the word FREAK….I then crack a bootle on her head to see if she is real….

  • 75. Lace  |  January 17, 2010 at 2:43 pm

Wow… those hosts are mean. That wasn’t very nice cutting her off like that.
However I am not a big fan of what she did… but God bless her anyways. 🙂

  • 76. Abbey  |  January 27, 2010 at 7:28 pm

If this lady wants to look like this she can it’s her choice of lifestyle! This morning talkshow hosts are so rude!

  • 77. aussiegirl21  |  March 11, 2010 at 1:32 pm

yea i agree that talk show sukks big time who the f*@k are they to just cutt her off like that, but they were probably being prompted by the producers behind the set so shame on them.

On a lighter note…..cathie seems a bit airy in the head lol

Terrible hosts! How rude. They could have at least apologized and said they did not have time left.
As for her organs being displaced… what about those of us with flabby abdominal muscles? My organs are probably all misplaced – they are hanging out.
And some guy friends of mine that have enormous beer bellies… they look like pregnant ladies, and when you squeeze their bellies, they are hard – so it is not fat. I think the abdominals are distended and so all the organs move to the front.
Just take a walk down the street (at least here in the U.S.) and you will rarely see someone with a core the way it is supposed to be.

Well, not to be too judgemental, it’s her body! While she took out an extreme measure, albeit unreasonable -it might just be something that totally delights her. People have idiosyncracies -whether we now veiw this as reasonable or not is debateable. While this is no more different in my opinion to body piercing and tats, i’m amused though that her husband, even Cathy see attractiveness in the distorted figure.

if she takes off the corset, does she fold in half?

  • 86. Barbara  |  October 5, 2011 at 9:26 am

I wonder if she had to remove any of her ribs? I heard it’s the new thing nowadays for women celebrities and dancers to do in order to move their bodies more flexibly. I know for sure Shakira has done it and there’s a rumor that Beyonce might have also done it. Maybe that was her secret? In order to be beautiful you have to remove bones that protect your only organ that provides you breathe and life! wow lol It truly amazes me how far women go to percieve beauty!

ok. now my opinion after reading all of this.

    – yes. wearing a corset can be harmful if you do it without proper care.
    – yes. corset training shifts your inner organs.
    – yes. it looks bizarre and there’s a lot of people that will see it as ugly.
    – and yes. each time she removes the corset she is in a lot of pain because the change in pressure at her waist.

    BUT

    – it’s her own choice.
    – she trained slowly for years so her body got used to it.
    – she doesn’t feel any pain when wearing it.
    – a lot of men would sell their own mother to be on bob’s place.
    – even if they wouldn’t say it there’s a lot of women that wish they were able to do what she did.
    – with the corset helping to keep her back straight she is probably more healthy than the average woman.

what she did was probably a bit too extreme but if she wanted it and she was able to do it properly to avoid injures then congratulations cathie. you did great and should be proud of your feat.

note: now try to get the world’s record of largest breasts and longest amount of time on ballet boots. we all know you can do it.

HAHHA the girls face at 3:50 – 3:52

  • 92. YoBro1786  |  March 4, 2012 at 3:25 pm

This is just weird and kind of nasty looking. To each his own I suppose. However I will say that she can not be in good health. The human body obviously is amazing and can do great things, but just like someone gaining too much weight there are just certain things the body doesn’t need to do. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.

For fuck’s sake, at least she’s not plastic surgerising herself to high heaven with fake boobs, tummy tucks, facelifts, orange tan jobs etc.

I’m a smaller stature than her, but I tightlace & I don’t get shortness of breath & do everything pretty much fine. It’s great for my posture. I’m almost 16″ in waist but for me I have looked for a different wasp shaped style of corset & most people wouldn’t know I was wearing it.

I find them comfortable. I might go down to 14″ to get into the Guinness book of Records then go back to being 15″ or 16″, but none of that shit is my priority.

  • 97. vicky  |  June 1, 2012 at 2:11 pm

I saw her today in person at a restaurant in Nags Head and she looks nasty! And she could hardly walk. Don’t know why anyone would do that to themselves.

It’s interesting to me that most of the naysayers are judgmental girls who are obviously just jealous that they can’t do something this phenomenal. Did any of you actually read the article? She’s undergone multiple x-rays and all her organs are fine. The corsette constricts the waist, not the lungs, so it doesn’t directly affect breathing. She has plenty of room for her intestines and stomach to fit, especially if she’s eating smaller meals, and everything else (lungs/liver/heart/etc) aren’t bothered by her waist being constricted. Her husband also said it supports her spine, and good posture works wonders for having a strong core. Look at her arms, they are in incredibly good shape! Obviously she isn’t anorexic, you can still see healthy weight in her face. Sure it’s not a look everyone desires or wants, but the woman is a powerhouse for taking it on and wearing it beautifully. It’s definitely a positive change from all the obese people society is riddled with today. Being fat actually takes years off of your life because of all the extra work your body is doing. Being incredibly obese causes physical changes in your body, your skeleton doesn’t get larger, so being obese puts extra strain on your bones. The heart has to pump harder, so the walls become thicker and aren’t able to contract/expand as much as it’s supposed to. There is extra weight constantly pushing down on your lungs making it harder to breathe, and because your blood can’t pump as hard, it takes 3-4 times as long for an obese person to re-oxygenate the bloodstream after working out, or even just walking. It’s also completely legal to smoke and drink, yet those two things actually do kill people, and fairly often. This isn’t nearly as bad as being obese, smoking, or drinking. She’s still very healthy, and can still do normal, everyday activities without being hindered, plus she gets to boast that nobody (including Megan Fox, who boasts about her small waist) has a tinier waist than she does. If you personally think it’s disgusting, whatever, but don’t start justifying that by making claims that it’s unhealthy and putting extra stress on her organs when it’s very clearly not. I think it’s beautiful and refreshing to see, especially when it makes her so happy. Why would you want to put down a healthy woman who’s completely content with the way she looks?..maybe because you’re the one who’s unhappy with their body and can only justify your awful self image by putting those who work for decades on theirs down. Grow up ladies, we didn’t get to where we did in society by tearing each other down, it’s important to accept and embrace women of all body types instead of calling them disgusting.

People have said the hosts are rude – but if you think about it they’ve actually been asked to follow a script. It’s not their fault they had to cut her off – look at James Corden and Adele at the brits! He cut her off, but he was really sorry – that was his job to continue the show. The presenters were just doing their job. And, that lady must be crazy. Does her waist literally just get smaller the longer you wear corsets? Although I have nothing against her, I’m not sure other people should do it to themselves. This lady is probably just a one-off in nature. I’m surprised she’s lived this long with a waist like that.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes
it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often.
Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
    Fantastic work!

  • 105. Lori Miller  |  March 13, 2013 at 8:41 am

She runs out of breath when talking. She talks kind of like a COPD patient. short sentences. She often stops at 4 words, inhales and starts talking again.

  • 106. william wizer  |  May 21, 2013 at 5:01 pm

perhaps she does but… she is 70 years old and, unlike some people, she thinks about what she wants to say and how to say it. pausing mid sentence to rethink what you are going to say doesn’t means she has breathing problems. it only means you think.

Personally I think she went a bit too far but it’s her body and if she and her husband wanted that we are nobody to say it was wrong to do it or even claim that it’s the cause of health problems.
